Stories to share - now and later

We create guided life story interviews for families —
a lasting record of you and the people you love.

A time capsule, so future generations don’t just know about someone — they experience who they were, how they lived, and what shaped them.

I’ve worked as Director of Photography at Stanford University since 1996, filming interviews with Silicon Valley pioneers in their homes for the historic Silicon Genesis series. For PBS, I also filmed Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger—the pilot who safely landed US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River.

Your Story Captured For Generations

The process is simple.

We’ll guide you, set a date,
and create a relaxed, well-organized recording session.

Your story is beautifully filmed, carefully shaped,
and delivered in a form your loved ones can keep forever.

You prepare. We show up. We handle the rest.

An act of honor

There’s something powerful that happens when a parent — or parent-in-law — sits down for an interview: they are in the spotlight as the honored guest, sharing a bounty of personality and information that might otherwise vanish with time.

For many, it’s a rare experience. To be asked about their life — not just what they did, but what it meant. What they remember. What stayed with them. Under the lights and on camera, history flows. Relationships are affirmed. Truths are spoken. Understanding deepens. Moments long held quietly begin to take shape in words. And beneath it all, there’s a feeling that comes through clearly: Family. Love. Hope. Strength.

To Be, Or Not To Be?

“Being” is just a conversation away. We remove the uncertainty and confusion. We’re already doing this, and provide:

  • Interview structure

  • Topic checklists

  • Professional capture

  • Family-ready delivery

  • Long-term preservation

One conversation can replace uncertainty with a plan
